Pre-Owned Equipment

At Heiber & Schroeder we believe in giving you choices, even in pre-owned equipment. The machines we offer may be 'as seen', 'check/cleaned' or completely reconditioned - and you always have the option to have us take the machine up to a higher level.

Check/cleaned machines have been checked over by our own highly experienced engineers and have:
- Had cylinders cleaned,
- Been checked to see that all functions work correctly,
- Had all pneumatic systems checked and cleaned if necessary,
- Had any defective parts repaired
- Been run with product, film and glue to check operation.

Completely re-conditioned machines involve a large element of disassembly. This requires a thorough knowledge of the machine's functions and of the tolerance levels required, something our engineers are ideally placed to assess. Each component is checked and those that are faulty or worn out are replaced by factory original parts. The new buyer can then be confident that his machine will meet their expectations, as well as Heiber & Schroeder's quality standards.

Each reconditioned machine has:
- Been stripped down to side frame level
- Had all bearings removed and all shafts checked and, if needed, repaired,
- Had all cylinders dismantled, cleaned, checked and, if necessary, repaired.
- Had all pneumatic system tubes and hoses replaced
- Had all vacuum pumps and filters cleaned and checked
- Had all wiring replaced and the electrical system and cabinet updated
- Had guards cleaned and checked
- Had side frames cleaned, checked and, if necessary, repaired - and had them painted.
- Had new chains and belts
- Had any defective parts repaired
- Had its rubber rollers cleaned, checked and, if necessary changed.
- Had any missing documentation replaced
- Been re-assembled to new machine standards
- Been run and quality checked, with product, film and glue to check operation.
