The perforating tool consists of a rotary cutting cylinder with lateral adjustment, working against a hardened steel roller. The shape of the perforating tool depends on the required perforating shape of the film and the lining material respectively. Depending on the cross-cutting length, the shape of the perforating tool has to be reproduced once, twice, or three times on the cutting cylinder circumference. It is also possible to install up to three cutting tools side by side.
